About Us
All the work is done by me from design to leather selection to
production and display. I use only top grade leather that I
hand select for color, durabilty, and texture. Basically I let
the leather tell me what it will be!
Types of leather I use range from cow to buffalo to deer to elk to
pig to snake to whatever I find that appeals. Most of the
"exotic" leathers I use I have obtained from vendors who specialize
in natural selection. In other words, the animals have died of
natural causes and are not "farmed" for the skins.
Each piece is one of a kind. Some may be duplicated patterns
but will chave some individuality whether a bodice, halter, pouch,
purse, belt, faerie, wall hanging, or even a simple leather rose or
pin. I enjoy creating and welcome challenges.
New this year in my product line are leather skirts (as modelled by
Mende and Molly in front of my booth at the Pennsylvania Renaissance
Faire). I have also added more hand-painted leather halters
and pouches. I am even experimenting with leather sculpture
that I hope to showcase at the Fairie Festival in Glen Rock in May.
